Privacy notice

Unixplore is a trading name of Francesco Edoardo Candi and Athanasios Manios, who are jointly the controllers of the personal data described below. Enquiries concerning this notice may be addressed to info@unixplore.eu.

Only what is entered into the waitlist form:

• Your email address, so that we can notify you when programmes become available for application.
• The destination you are interested in, if you choose to provide it. This field is optional. It is used to establish which countries to approach first and is not disclosed outside Unixplore.
• The consent statement you agreed to and the date of that agreement, retained alongside your address as a record of what was presented to you.

We do not request your name, and this site offers no account registration.

We process this data on the basis of your consent, given by selecting the checkbox on the waitlist form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@unixplore.eu. No explanation is required and withdrawal carries no consequence for you.

We retain your address until we have contacted you about the launch, or until you request its deletion, whichever occurs first. If this site has not opened within eighteen months, the list is deleted.

Two providers process this data on our behalf, in both cases as part of hosting it:

• Neon hosts the database, which is located in Frankfurt. Your address therefore remains within the European Union.
• Cloudflare serves these pages and, as any web host does, processes the requests it receives, including your IP address, for the purposes of delivering the site and maintaining its security.

We do not sell this list, do not disclose it to the institutions shown on this site, and do not use it for any purpose other than notifying you that applications have opened.

This site sets no cookies and contains no analytics, advertising tags or embedded third-party trackers. No consent banner is presented for that reason.

You may request access to the data we hold about you, its correction, or its deletion. Requests should be sent to info@unixplore.eu and will be answered within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
